Winter is well-known for being the least-favorite driving season, thanks to all of the snow and ice. Most drivers breathe a sigh of relief when the warmer weather that comes with spring and summer arrives. Keep an Eye on Your Coolant System

Keeping cool in the summer is something that you and your family will obviously desire, but the same thing can be said about your vehicle. Your car's engine will not operate well if your car's coolant system is not working properly. Before the start of the summer, check your coolant fluid level and make sure it's ready to go. While you're at it, take a closer look at the hoses and the reservoir and make sure there are no signs of a leak and that the hoses are secured correctly to the engine block.

Inspect and Possibly Replace Your Wipers

Change Your Air Filter

Your air filter helps protect your engine and keeps gross things like decomposing leaves out of your car's internal parts. Air filters usually have a rough time in the winter when all kinds of things like salt and other debris can come flying up off the roadway. The start of a new season is a great opportunity to give your car a fresh start. Install a new air filter so your engine can do its job without anything cluttering up its workspace.
